On Thursday July 14th, our DSDHH Veterans Liaison Sean Baker attended the Duplin County Stand Down 2022 veterans event in Wallace, NC with staff from DSDHH Wilson and Wilmington Regional Center.

This event was in honor of veterans who served in any branch of the military with their commitment to serve and protect our country. As a way to thank them for their service, there were food giveaways, vocational training, benefit updates, health & dental screening, resources from DSDHH, employment and housing opportunities.

James Sprunt Community College was one of the vendors on site.
